Journal Ideas for the Holiday Season

It’s the holiday season, and you may be feeling a little bit overwhelmed. There are so many parties to go to, gifts to buy, family members to visit with, and food too! It’s hard not get caught up in all of the hustle and bustle. If you’re looking for some extra help during this time of year – journaling can really help! Journaling is an excellent way to get your thoughts down on paper so that they don’t keep swirling around in your head. Here are some ideas for what you can write about if you want something specific:

1) Write about gift ideas for family members or friends. This can help you keep track of what you’ve bought or are thinking about buying.

2) If you’re traveling to visit family members, write about your thoughts on the trip and what you’re looking forward to.

3) If you’re hosting a party, write about your thoughts on it – whether it’s been stressful or not.

3) Write down any recipes you want to make for the holidays.

4) If you’re feeling stressed out, write about your thoughts and feelings surrounding that.

5) Take some time to reflect on the past year – what were your highs and lows?

6) What are your plans for next year? Write down ideas and goals for the next 12 months.

7) Pets can be a big part of the holiday season, too! Write about what you’ve been doing with them or any funny things that have happened.

8) Write a letter to Santa too – it’s not only kids who can do this!

The possibilities are endless – just have fun with it and see what comes up. Happy journaling!
